Jason Kelce Now Has Prime Video's Most-Watched U.S. Documentary of All Time
Jason Kelce’s documentary “KELCE” made some history. It’s now the most watched doc ever on Amazon Prime, via Katie Campione at Deadline:
Kelce, the documentary chronicling Philadelphia Eagles team captain and All-Pro center Jason Kelce‘s epic year leading to his Super Bowl LVII matchup against his brother Travis, is now the streamer’s most-watched documentary ever in the U.S. It beat out Val for the top spot.
After premiering on September 12, Kelce had the biggest first three days ever for a documentary film in the U.S. It debuted at No. 1 and has remained in the Top 5 movies on Prime Video throughout the first three weeks of its release.
It helps when you have a beloved athlete like Jason Kelce and then awesome supporting characters like his wife, Kylie, and Wyatt who might be the funniest four year old in the country.
@kyliekelce Just another swiftie tryna learn football, or a kid tryna avoid a nap. Who knows? #GoBirds
Amazing stuff. I’m happy for Jason and the Kelces, but mostly excited for Don Argot and 9.14 Pictures who are local to the area and directed the story beautifully. It’s cool to have local companies like them and NFL Films a part of this success.
What a year from the Kelce family. I’ve got a take for you. I think in the next 10 years the Kelce brothers are going to be bigger than the Manning brothers. Biggest podcast in the country, most streamed doc in the US of A, and you can’t turn the TV on without seeing one of them in a commercial. They’re a more salt-of-the-Earth version of the Manning brothers. I can see myself having a beer with Jason at the Dead Dog. I feel like if I was getting a beer with Peyton it would be at a hotel bar at the Ritz Carlton. Joe Sixpack definitely relates more to the Kelces then the Mannings. They’re on YoutTube where they can let loose and have fun. Eli and Peyton are buttoned up in collared shirts and slacks under close watch from The Mouse. Everyday people can see themselves in the undersized center and the underdog tight end from Ohio than football royalty from Louisiana. Book it. In 10 years they’re going to be bigger than the Manning brothers… unless Jason gets that organic garden dream off the ground:
