Rare Chris Simms W. He was on Pro Football Talk actually supporting the Brotherly Shove. We don’t get to experience many of these as Eagles fans, so don’t take this one lightly:

Simms: “I’ve changed my thought on this play a little bit. I’ve seen enough to know you can stop this. You can’t make it illegal just because one team’s awesome at it, and the rest of the NFL is not. That’s where I’d go against it. There was a time there where I worried is this going to be a player safety thing. You know, is this right? And I thought about that for a while. But as time has gone on for a while we’ve seen not everyone can do this. To me it would seem cheap right now if they took this out of the game. It would be a little bit like, ‘We’re taking this out because the Eagles are to good at it.’ Screw that. This is the NFL. Big boy football. Either you do it, or draft people to stop it. But you can’t change a rule because one team keeps kicking the shit out of everyone doing it, when the rest of the league has shown they can stop other teams that do it.”

We could’ve saved everyone in the NFL media some time walking back with their tail between their legs if they would’ve just listened to Eagles fans from the start.

We’ve been trying to tell you. Nick Sirianni tried to tell you:

Nobody can do it like we can. This would be like the NBA banning the three point line because the Warriors were too good during the Splash Brother days.

This now makes for the second person in the national media realizing the error of his ways. But this one is BIG! The biggest Jalen Hurts hater doing a 180 on the Brotherly Shove? It’s a holiday miracle! All the Brotherly Shove does is bring joy around the holidays, and isn’t that what’s most important?
