Christian McCaffrey was on the ManningCast Monday night and predicted this Eagles play almost perfectly. Sources who were watching the ManningCast say he did it three different times. That’s the creativity of a Brian Johnson/Nick Sirianni offense:

Now I’m not going to sit here and act like I’m some tape dog that understands football schemes, but that has to be embarrassing to watch if you’re the Eagles. If an offensive player knows what’s coming, then the 49ers defense definitely knew what the Birds were running a couple weeks ago.

Between the tight end screens with DeVonta Smith blocking, getting Quez Watkins involved for the first time midway through the fourth, and zero creativity, someone’s head has to roll in the offseason. But how can it be Brian Johnson when your franchise QB loves the guy? We’re kind of handcuffed, no? Unless Sirianni takes blame for the play calling in the offseason, we demote BJ back to QB coach, and hire another offensive coordinator. I just can’t fathom how Johnson can be this bad when he had an entire year with Shane Steichen. Did Steichen lock him out of the offensive meetings? There’s no hard drive in NovaCare that has all of Steichen’s plays on it from last year that the guy can peek at? I mean the first 15-play install looked great last night! Big boy smash mouth football! Moving the ball with ease. The rest of the game I would’ve rather stuck Matt Patricia’s #2 Ticonderoga up my dick hole then watch the offense.

Eight minutes left, Seattle has one timeout, and you’re moving the ball. All of a sudden Hurts “Leroy Jenkins” it to Quez on first down. What the fuck was the point? Hurts looks like he’s reverting back to 2021 Jalen and it sucks.

Kinkead: to be fair, I think we also knew what was coming on that play. Johnson loves his third and medium QB draw. Jack Stoll wasn’t in there to run a go route. also, Hurts doesn’t even follow that block
