The Detroit Pistons now have the longest losing streak in a single NBA season after losing #27 Tuesday night, besting the 2013-14 76ers and 2010-11 Cavs.

The Sixers’ starting lineup during that 26th loss was Michael Carter-Williams, Hollis Thompson, James Anderson, Thaddeus Young, and Henry Sims. Elliot Williams, Jarvis Varnardo, and Casper Ware all played more than 20 minutes in the game.

There were only three first rounders on that Sixers team. Compare that to the Pistons, who have SIX lottery picks getting significant minutes, and this is incredibly more embarrassing than what happened in 2013-14. Guess what team the Sixers beat to end that streak? The Detroit Pistons.

How long until Adam Silver steps in and removes the GM? I mean, at least the Sixers had a plan. The Detroit Pistons either downright suck or are tanking right in the NBA’s face. Everything they do is becoming a laughingstock:

There are “Sell the Team” chants throughout the arena:

The next record that can be wiped away from the history books is the Sixers’ 28 game losing streak that stretched from the last 10 games of the 2014-15 season into the first 18 games of the 15-16 season.
