Flyers Needed a Mexican Vacation After that Run of Games

Now unless Zamula is just terribly late at posting his summer vacation photos, it appears as though he’s in Mexico with six teammates. Or it’s just him and he’s taunting the other six. But good for him, or them. Can’t get far enough away after that five-game skid to take us into the All Star break. Hope they’re in Cabo, drinking tequila with Sammy Hagar.* (edit – they might be in the Riviera Maya)
The NHL All Star Game is Saturday, and then the Flyers pick back up in Florida on February 6th, so they’ve got a good week to rest up before they return to cold and dreary Philadelphia to get yelled at by John Tortorella. Torts is refusing to take questions from Anthony SanFilippo, so we’re sending Ant to the next press conference looking like this:
