“Kyle stop fucking saying Sandbagger every time you write today.” Me:

I’m addicted to saying Sandbagger.

We’ve got an update to the Spittin’ Chiclets vs. Crossing Broad vs. Kevin Hayes triple threat match. If you missed the first bout, here it is to catch up.

Now we have a sequel. Monday night Biz and Whit refuted Sherlock SanFilippo’s report about Kevin Hayes getting his grubby mitts on Quitter Gauthier. Today, Chiclets released a podcast where they spread “misinformation” – except this one can actually be fact checked with a simple Google search:

Wow. Do you think all Gauthiers look the same, Whit?

You can’t make this shit up. These are the two guys refuting reports? A couple of guys who don’t even know Quitter Gauthier and Denis Gauthier aren’t related? Listen I didn’t even know who tf Denis Gauthier was an hour ago, but I don’t have the most popular hockey podcast in the world. I didn’t play in the league with Denis like Whit and Biz did. I wasn’t one of the hosts warning people about all the misinformation being spread on Twitter 10 minutes before we found this clip:

And listen I like Whit & Biz. They seem like A+ dudes that do great things for hockey. But you can’t try to shit down my guy Sherlock SanFilippo’s throat and then be this wrong about something. Isn’t this pretty hypocritical from the Chiclets guys? They’re using the same exact playbook against Sherlock SanFilippo that reporters used against them during the Mike Babcock situation:

If you don’t want to watch a seven minute clip I’ll lay the story out quickly. Biz and Whit reported that a Columbus player told them that Blue Jackets coach Mike Babcock was up to his old tricks and forcing players to give them his phone so he could go through them. Creepy shit that went way above what a coach should be able to do. Babcock denied the allegations, the Blue Jackets had Johnny Gaudreau and GM release statements, and other reporters crucified the show. What happened? The NHLPA did an investigation, Chiclets’ source was right, and Babcock was fired before training camp.

So now we’re not going to believe the plugged in Flyers reporter just because you don’t like his sources that are reporting something about your friend? Pot meet kettle.
