There are two ridiculous things currently being passed around on Twitter. One is the allegation that Meek Mill and and P Diddy are/were in some kind of relationship. The other is that Mecole Hardman leaked the Jets’ game plan to the Eagles and Chiefs, explained by resident conspiracy theorist Mike Florio at Pro Football Talk:

In the midst of some belated public acrimony between the Jets and receiver Mecole Hardman, a doozy of a report has emerged.

Here’s the tweet from Connor Hughes of SNY.tv: “Yes, I’m told there was validated belief from the #Jets that WR Mecole Hardman, frustrated by his lack-of usage, leaked game plans to the opposition, as implied by several players (Sauce Gardner, Kenny Yeboah) today. Not just the #Eagles game, but also the #Chiefs. Ironically, the Eagles victory was arguably the best of the season for the Jets while Zach Wilson enjoyed the best game of his career against the Chiefs.”

I believe this started when Sauce Gardner tweeted and deleted a post that said “we ain’t gon talk about how our offensive gameplan got leaked vs. the Eagles tho.

My first thought was that there’s no way this could be true, because the Eagles played horribly and lost that game 20 to 14. Jalen Hurts threw three interceptions and the offense mustered a total of 14 points against a team that wound up finishing 7-10. But the specific allegation is that the Jets’ OFFENSIVE game plan got leaked, and the Birds D really did play well that afternoon. They limited Breece Hall to 39 rushing yards and Zach Wilson went 19-33 for 186 yards.

To be fair, however, you don’t need the Jets’ offensive game plan to stop the Jets, because they have no offense. Their offense at that point in the season was nonexistent, then morphed into some version of “give Breece Hall the football and pray.” That’s what makes this thing so goofy. You don’t need a secret blueprint to defeat Zach Wilson. The Eagles threw a couple of second half picks, one that gave NY the ball on the 8 yard line, which was the catalyst for the game-winning score. The Eagles were hideous in that second half and still had a chance to win it.

So you tell me – you believe Sauce?
