CJ Gardner-Johnson Apologized to Eagles Fans, but Didn't Have to Because We're Assholes
CJGJ apologized to Eagles fans for saying the people in Philly were fucking obnoxious and he “can’t stand those fuckers.” The thing is, there was no need for an apology:
I do owe the fans of Philly an apology, regardless this is an amazing place and we had some memories together! Let’s go get us one #FlyEaglesFly

Hey CJ, listen, last year we both said some things we didn’t mean. We both had just lost a Super Bowl and tensions were high. We’re assholes. You’re an asshole. It’s what makes us great at what we do. It’s all water under the bridge. We’ll call it a tie because you had your Kia stolen when you were here.
This is the best thing about Philly. We can go from ‘motherfucking’ some athlete for the entirety of his career all for him to join the Eagles and now it’s all love (Saquon). Or you can have a messy divorce with one guy and then rekindle the spark a year later where you both act like nothing happened. Nothing like Philadelphia. You come for one of our own we’ll tear you limb from limb. Remember when we hated Gritty and then the country started piling on and we turned around and started defending the guy? Nothing like it. It’s like when you have that one friend in the group that your friends always pick on. Until someone from outside the group tries it and you stop that shit immediately. As long as you’re wearing the midnight green you’re family.
Put it here, kid:
