Fletch and Jason Kelce will be throwing out the first pitch at the Phillies game on Saturday, per Kelce on his podcast.

I’m looking back through the archives and I don’t see a video of Jason Kelce ever throwing out the first pitch at the Phillies game. Is this true? Now obviously he’s got training camp and the Phils didn’t play in many October games during his career, but what gives? He never was sitting around his Haverford mansion from April – June and was like, “Hey I want to throw out the first pitch.“? Even after the Super Bowl he never trotted out onto the mound in Mummers gear and threw the first pitch to Andrew Knapp, waiting behind the dish?

He’s rang the bell and sang the anthem at a Sixers game:

He banged the drum and broke the mallet at a Union game:

He fired up the fans at a Flyers game and they even gave him a Mummers hat:

He’s also done starting lineups in the locker room:

So what gives? Is he scared? Can all Kelces be ridiculously good at football, but actually terrible at baseball?

Don’t get me wrong, it’s hard to top the most electric thing he’s ever done in the Bank. I was at this game and it was INTENSE! There were a couple errors the inning right before that let the Padres back in the game. Lots of tight buttholes before Kelce came out and pounded a beer. It’s exactly what the crowd needed. That’s when everyone decided we weren’t losing this game:
