Fletcher Cox Officially Announces Retirement After 12 Eagles Seasons
Fletcher Cox posted this on social media:
That’s a nice message, really touches on some key points and thanks key people. Cox reiterates a lot of what Jason Kelce said about the honor and privilege of playing in the NFL and performing in front of “intense and demanding” fans.
He retires with an incredible resume. Super Bowl champion, six Pro Bowls, a first team All-Pro and three second team All-Pros. He made the 2010s All-Decade Team and logged 70 sacks and 16 forced fumbles. He hit the quarterback 173 times and had 88 tackles for loss.
