John Bolaris, fresh off predicting last year’s Opening Day weather perfectly, is now calling for the Phillies to postpone this year’s due to a coastal storm and increasing winds:

PHILLIES FORECAST UPDATE : Rain out likely . Frontal system stalls allows coastal storm to develop along stalled front , With rain & increasing wind . If I were Phillies I would already to make plans for opening day to be Friday . Wx on Friday VERY WINDY & COLD .. 50 degrees top NW winds 15-25mph gusts 30mph + .. Baseball in the NE should never be played in March .. should always start season in Southern climates FIRST

I know what you’re thinking. That John Bolaris is just making another crazy weather prediction! It wouldn’t be the first time JBo was deceived by something from the East coming over to America. I’d typically agree with you if he didn’t put on a performance for the ages like he did last year. He’s the only one that had the weather pegged for Opening Day from the jump. When everyone was talking about moving Opening Day to Friday, he was the only one who stood in the box and stared right down the barrel of the gun and knocked one out of the park.  What did the Phillies do? They cancelled Opening Day almost 20 hours before the game. What happened? It was a beautiful 80 degree day and people were pissed:

This is what The Weather Channel app looks like as of 6am this morning:

Unfortunately, Friday’s forecast isn’t much better. It’ll be 50 degrees with 30 MPH WINDS. OMG what’s that?  That’s Trea Sheisty’s music! –
