You want to point to the Phillies slow start? Here you go. You want to know why Bryce Harper has started 0 for 10? I’ve got your answer right here. It’s this Phillies song, by a country singer from Bucks County named Holdyn Barder:

Listen, this might sound harsh, but this is what happens when you don’t have any real friends. I’m all for people chasing their dreams and working out that creative muscle. But when you don’t have one true friend to sit you down and tell you that this song sucks and should never see the light of day, this is what you get. Just a bunch of yes men in Holdyn’s crew holdin’ their ears when he gets in the booth. I’d rather the bell never ring again than listen to another second of this song.

And I’m not the only one. The Internet can be a place filled with a lot of hate, but this time I’m rooting hard for them:

The worst part is this guy has my IG algorithm in a chokehold. Every now and then he’ll pop back up with this song dubbed over a video. I can’t block him either. I need the cringe. It keeps you motivated to never create something so bad that it makes people want to become a Braves fan.

The lyrics don’t even make sense either. This guy is a big Phillies fan obviously. Go on his Insta and you can’t go more than a couple posts without seeing him talk about the Phillies. But wouldn’t a Phillies fan know that the lyric, “Hall of Fame like Pete Rose” makes zero sense? It’s one thing to suck at music, it’s another thing to be a fraud:

Is he fake playing the guitar over an EDM song? Will someone sit this guy down and shake him for god’s sake!

“Keep him away from the Eagles!”

TOO LATE:

Don’t you encourage this Eagles.

Please do not let the San Diego Padres fans see this. We do not claim this guy.

We used to be a proper country:
