#Cowboys star WR CeeDee Lamb has not been spotted in Dallas for mandatory minicamp, sources say. Lamb has not been present for voluntary OTAs, but is not reporting to minicamp, which subjects a player to fines.

The Justin Jefferson deal getting done will probably accelerate this, but as of right now, CeeDee is a holdout. That’s the fact, JACK.
Serious question though – when’s the last time the Eagles had a legitimate contract dispute? I don’t know if Haason Reddick counts. We’re talking something like this, a superstar player not showing up for mandatory minicamp because they want a new deal. We’re talking a “sit ups in the driveway” type of conflict. I guess the most recent kerfuffle would probably be the Malcolm Jenkins situation. That was almost five years ago now, when he had a very short summer holdout and felt like he had outplayed his current contract.
Even then, it didn’t amount to much. The Eagles don’t put themselves in these situations, because they typically take care of their guys early and get them locked up before the market resets. Then Howie does his “cap wizardry” (aka using a credit card, they have two years of Jason Kelce dead cap) and we kick the can down the road in perpetuity while avoiding conflict in the process. It’s how things work when your organization has emotional intelligence. The Dallas Cowboys do not have emotional intelligence.
