Fran Duffy to PHLY, Jon Marks and Harry Mayes Teasing New Gigs
Bit of a sports media roundup here on a Friday morning:
The cat is out of the bag!
Fired up to join @ALLCITY_Network to lead their NFL Draft Coverage. Can’t wait to provide my analysis in all of their markets across the country.
I’ll also be contributing to the #Eagles coverage @PHLY_Sports – can’t wait to work w/ @Bo_Wulf & @ZBerm pic.twitter.com/3bLaVF580Y

The Duffy move is really interesting to me. Can’t imagine it’s easy to leave the Philadelphia Eagles, especially when you’ve been there for 13 years and built up a really solid reputation as a football guy who puts out quality content. When you work for the teams, you typically have more job security, and there’s been a trend over the last 5-10 years of more stuff being produced from inside the house. The only drawback of being in the Dave Spadaro or Lauren Rosen realm is that you do have to watch you say, so in Fran’s case, his video analysis would always have to be something along the lines of “Quez Watkins uses inside leverage here” when other media is able to say “what the fuck was Quez Watkins doing on that route?”
RE: Jon and Harry, the two do not appear to be going to the same place. Jon left WIP at the end of 2023, and has been doing a podcast with Parx and dabbling in some various things here and there. He even went on The Russ Joy Show, featuring Russ Joy, and confirmed that “there was interest from 97.5 the Fanatic,” but no agreement there. So he will not be doing radio. Mayes, meantime, does the Swing it and Ding it golf show, he’s got the Ah Jeez podcast with Jason Myrtetus, and contributes to Inside Golf TV. He mentioned on Twitter that the Fanatic ship has sailed and Tony Bruno reunion plans do not appear to be in the cards. In lieu of calling these guys and asking where they’re going, I think we’ll just let them make their announcements next week. It’s more exciting that way.
