The world is starting to catch on that John Kruk is a national treasure. Last Week Tonight did a supercut of some of his best commentary this season:

They could’ve filled an entire hour with Kruk musings if we’re being honest. We need Kruk back more than ever after this weekend. Can’t hit, can’t field, can’t pitch. The fact we didn’t have him the last two days as the Phils were getting their doors blown off is criminal. Outscored 23-6 and we had to listen to RAJ babble about modern day baseball and god knows what. If the Phillies are going to suck I want Kruk there to at least help me pass the time.

I can’t tell if this guy likes us or not. I feel like it’s an unspoken kind of respect. He’ll make his jokes, but he knows not to go too far or he’ll face Philly’s wrath, which is a perfect line to toe. We can take a joke, but the second you step over the line at our expense we’ll want to burn your fucking house down (yell about it on social media).
