You just knew in the middle of that game as you’re watching Darius Slay get torched and still celebrating that we were going to get a tweet from him after the game that was going to be so unbelievably tone deaf it was going to make you even more annoyed with the Eagles loss. I knew it was coming and it even surpassed my wildest dreams:

Pumping up your career stats and talking about how great you are after a 17 point loss is insane. How does this guy wear the “C” on his chest? Did they count all the votes? Just another case of voter fraud in Philadelphia. I mean you lost by three scores. You made Baker Mayfield look like Tom Brady. You let him start 12/13 for 138 yards and 2 TD in 10 minutes of football. After getting torched by him seven months before. Have an ounce of pride.

If you’re keeping score at home that’s now an apology for his Brazil comments on his podcast before Week 1, dapping up Drake London after he burnt him for a TD in Week 2, and now flaunting his career stats after another stinker. Who knows what we’re in store for the rest of the season? What makes it worse is human traffic cone Kevin Byard gassing him up:

Darius’ Twitter is now private which is the only thing he’s locked down all season:

Locking your Twitter might be even worse. Eagles fans criticize you and the first thing you do is head for the hills and make your Twitter private? That’s exactly the characteristics of a leader I want to see. When the going gets tough Darius tweets it and deletes it than runs for the hills. It’s just loser behavior all around. Keep Quinyon Mitchell away from this guy.
