Phillies Fan Has Gotten Married, Divorced, and Had Two Kids Since Last NL East Title
One of the better clips from Monday night, if we’re being honest:
“13 years we’ve waited for this. I’ve gotten married and divorced and had two kids!”

The last time the Phillies won the National League East was in 2011.
Back then:
- Barack Obama was still in his first term.
- Hawk Tuah Girl was in elementary school.
- The U.S. military had killed Osama Bin Laden a few months prior.
- Occupy Wall Street and the Arab Spring were taking place.
- Charlie Sheen was fired from Two and a Half Men and had a very public mid-life crisis
- a new series called Game of Thrones debuted
- Maroon 5 hit #1 on the Billboard chart with “Moves Like Jagger.” LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem” was #2
- Etta James, Don Cornelius, and Whitney Houston were still alive
So on and so forth. It doesn’t seem like it was THAT long ago, but 13 years is 13 years. I also got married and had two kids, but no divorce, so I can relate to at least 66% of what this guy is saying. Go Phils!
