Great play by Starling Thomas but also the most appropriate way for Jalen Reagor to find his way back into the news cycle. The guy makes a nice catch, he’s close to getting his first receiving touchdown since 2022, then bam, strip, fumble, out the side of the end zone for a touchback. A brutal turn of events in a split second. His final line from this game was one reception for 41 yards, one run for a loss of a yard, and one lost fumble. That follows a 2023 season with the Patriots in which he caught seven of his 23 targets for 138 yards and zero scores. It’s just not gonna happen for the guy. One of the all-time Philadelphia Eagles draft disappointments.
