Hopefully this is the last time we have to talk about Darius until the bye week is over. He was on his own podcast this time addressing the controversies he’s been involved in the last 48 hours:

This guy is always explaining himself for something that he did. What’s that tell you? And there is no doubt this won’t be the final time we’ll hear him on a podcast explaining himself this season. For a guy that loves Kobe he acts more like a LeBron fan. Kevin nailed it yesterday. It’s not about him going on the podcast it’s just that he has zero awareness for the situation. We all understand these guys have lives outside of football. That’s not the case. It’s the fact that he’s tweeting out his career stats and yukking it up with a Cowboys player less than 24 hours after he got torched by Baker Mayfield. Read the room for me one time.

Saquon Barkley dropped a pass on Monday Night Football and cancelled a spot on The Dan Patrick Show personally because he thought it was bad optics:

Right or wrong that’s the shit that plays in Philadelphia. That’s accountability that will go a long way. I don’t even think people would’ve cared if Saquon went on Dan Patrick, but that’s the self awareness that Darius lacks.

Not to mention the completely hypocritical comments he makes.

Darius Slay: “If I’m playing bad attack me.

Also, Darius Slay:

Not very Mamba Mentality.

P.S. The irony of the “Play” sign behind Darius being burnt out is hilarious. A picture worth 1,000 words:
