I went down to the Phillies mural in Fishtown to see what fans want to do with it. As you can expect, less than 24 hours after the Phillies blew another World Series opportunity, the answers varied:

What do Phillies fans want to do with the Daycare Mural? @Kyle Pagan #phillies #philliesbaseball #philliesfan #mets #daycare #fishtown #philly #mural #mlb

I got some inside info about the mural. It ain’t going anywhere – unless someone gets traded. That’s what I heard from a super-secret source. And then if one of these guys gets traded they might just replace it with another Phillie. So yea, if you hate this mural sorry, but it ain’t going anywhere. Nor should it. It’s only been up for two weeks. People worked hard on it. It’s not Glossback’s fault the Daycare couldn’t hit shit and Alec Bohm broke down. That wall has depicted a late first round, defense-first NBA player and three young guys with different accolades scattered throughout their careers batting in the bottom half of the lineup. It’s not like they put Bryce Harper up there and he went 1 for 15 or Joel Embiid and he tore his leg up. They’ve never really picked the who’s who of Philly sports and you can’t forget the reason why we’re even here is because it originally was a brand deal with Red Bull. So is it Red Bull’s fault for starting this? Without Red Bull it’d just be another wall with probably another mural on it like there are thousands around the city. Whatever they do don’t put the Eagles, Matvei Michkov, or any Sixers players up there.
