This is good:

Sweat did get to rush Russell Wilson in the first half, so he had something to do earlier in the game. He had a big sack and a stuff also, and he’s up to eight sacks on the season after zero through the first three games. It’s really interesting how the talk about the EDGE group died down, even after the Bryce Huff and Brandon Graham injuries, because the defense as a whole is playing so well. And Jalen Carter is a one-man wrecking ball, creating interior pass rush all by himself, so there’s been less of an onus on the EDGE group to deliver.

We mentioned the second half possession numbers the other day. The Yinzers only had the ball twice, amounting to about 5:50 of possession. They punted with a little more than 10 minutes remaining, down 14, and didn’t get the ball back. The Birds converted a 3rd and 6 while backed up near their own goal line, then parlayed that into a 21 play, 88-yard drive that ended with Jalen Hurts taking a knee.
