If you watched the Eagles’ parade speeches on television, you likely didn’t hear much because the poor fools running the dump button were in hell. Hilarious. “Ah we cut that one off, but if you heard any of that we apologize.” I was watching the Fox livestream on YouTube and they didn’t bleep anything out, but it sounds like a lot of people were watching on TV and didn’t hear half of what was actually said.

Hot take though: the only apology should be from people who tune into a live Super Bowl parade broadcast and become offended by what they see and hear. Beers and cuss words are flying. The swear jar is overflowing like a sewage pipe at FedFexField. Did you expect something different? Surely you’re not sitting at home with your six year old watching this, right? The thing about the FCC is that it stinks. It should exist solely to manage the electromagnetic spectrum and regulate communications and promote competition and innovation. Nobody there should be worried about what a bunch of Karens say. Everyone knew that Janet Jackson had a wardrobe malfunction. It wasn’t intentional Super Bowl smut. Similarly, Fox 29, Action News, Eyewitness News, and NBC 10 can’t control what’s coming out of A.J. Brown’s mouth. So give ’em a break. Tell Elon and DOGE to get in there and clean up the FCC. Send some 23-year-old computer geniuses into the system to wipe out all of the incoming fines for local television stations.
