It Appears as Though the POOP Game is No More
It appears we have a new scorebug for Phillies games on NBC Sports Philadelphia in 2025:
NBCSP debuted this new scorebug Sunday, the first broadcast of the 2025 season, and fans weren’t happy. Personally, I don’t love the look of it. I didn’t think anything was wrong with the old one, but with a new year comes new upgrades (or downgrades) to the broadcast. But why are fans so upset?
No more POOP game:
The infamous POOP game, when the Phillies play the Pirates and the score is 0-0. This is Spring baseball. These are the things that matter. Luckily for fans, we still may get the POOP game for a few seconds. The comeback scoreboard after commercials on the new scorebug looks like this.
Too many scorebugs are getting updated and they simply just don’t look good.
I still don’t think we talked about how ugly the scorebug was for the Eagles vs. Chiefs Super Bowl a few weeks ago…
