Jalen Hurts met with the media after Friday’s practice and was asked about his “most vivid memory” from the last Super Bowl:

A different media member followed up with “what did you learn from that and what can you apply to returning?”

Here’s what Jalen had to say:

I think hindsight, ya know, from a perspective that everyone’s not really experienced that before. Everything that comes with the week, I think that something that’s big is being a good influence on the guys that haven’t been there before. Being able to answer questions, and open that door, so everyone is that much closer when we go out there and experience, ya know…but in the end, it’s a business trip, and it’s an opportunity that we’ve worked for to have and we want to take advantage of it.”

Just an odd question to ask. The rewording is way better than the original. I really like the second question, because Super Bowl week can be a lot, especially for the guys that haven’t experienced it like Jalen noted. I think we all know Jalen’s most vivid memory of that Super Bowl is losing the game. It’s literally the lock screen on his phone.

This is going to be the longest 9 days of my life. Just get me to 6:30 PM next Sunday.
