Nothing has gone right with the Sixers this year. Not until All-Star weekend rolled around anyway. Top to bottom it was the worst we’ve ever seen. A G-Leaguer won the Dunk Contest again against a bunch of nobodies, the three-point contest was a brick fest that Steph Curry couldn’t even be bothered to join in the city he plays in, and we had to watch players go 50% against each other while LeBron sat out. The Sixers missing this entire weekend is the only good move they’ve made all season. When people study this ASG weekend in 20 years there won’t be a 76er for them to criticize because Joel Embiid played 20% of the games in the first half and Paul George was on an island somewhere licking titties:

You almost have to respect a guy who can fleece a team for $200 million, score two points the last game before the break, and throw it in the face of Sixers fans everywhere. What a grift.

If you didn’t watch this is what you missed:

An NBA fan on Reddit ran the numbers and found that commercials nearly doubled the basketball:

42 minutes of actual basketball was played in the 3 hour All-Star game (Minutes Break-Down)

There was a god damn Mr. Beast challenge in the middle of the game:

It suckkkkkkkkkked. Adam Silver should have to resign for how bad he’s made not only the ASG, but the NBA product. Somehow the Sixers will lose a draft pick for me saying this.
