The Saturday sports outlook looks much more bleak than the weather forecast.

You’re probably better off spending time with your family and going to a nice brewery, park, whatever it may be.

BUT if you are going to watch and bet on the pro and college games on Saturday, here’s a look into the trends for each contest.

Warriors at Sixers (Saturday, 8:30 p.m. ET)

Wooooooof this one could get UGLY.

Golden State comes into South Philly on a five-game winning streak powered by the Jimmy Butler trade deadline acquisition.

Steph Curry just dropped 56 points against Orlando on Thursday and the Warriors have scored more than 120 points in each of their last four games.

Golden State is also 5-0 against the spread during its winning run. Meanwhile, the Sixers are 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games.

Flyers at Jets (Saturday, 7 p.m. ET)

The Flyers will be a road underdog in Winnipeg.

This will be an actual test for the Flyers against the best team in the Western Conference.

Winnipeg gave up three goals or less in each of the last six games and only gives up 2.35 goals per contest.

Yes, the Flyers are in some strong offensive form thanks to the Owen Tippett/Sean Couturier/Matvei Michkov combination, but that will probably be stymied, at least for one game, in Manitoba.

FC Cincinnati at Union (Saturday, 7:30 p.m. ET)

The Union surprisingly put up four goals on the road in their season opener last weekend.

It remains to be seen if that was a one-off performance, or if that will be the norm under new manager Bradley Carnell.

FC Cincinnati is one of the best teams in MLS, but I’d argue the Union have a strong chance of winning because Cincy is in the middle of competing in the CONCACAF Champions League.

Cincinnati plays Tigres, one of the top Mexican teams, on Tuesday, so they will likely play some of their reserves. The Union are fully healthy and full of confidence. I’d bet them over the Sixers or Flyers on Saturday. Don’t waste your time with a three-team money line parlay.

Butler at Villanova (Saturday, Noon ET)

Villanova is squarely on the bubble and must beat Butler to keep that status.

The Wildcats beat Butler by eight points in their first meeting. The spread isn’t out just yet on Friday afternoon, but the KenPom prediction has the Wildcats winning by six.

Villanova is 5-2 ATS in its last seven games and the over is 3-2 in that span. Butler is notably 6-2 to the over in its last eight games.

St. Joe’s at Fordham (Saturday, Noon ET)

The Hawk Will Never Stop Covering The Spread?

St. Joe’s is on a six-game covering streak and should be in good shape on Saturday against a Fordham team that is 3-12 in A10 play.

Fordham is 1-4 ATS in its last five, and like Butler, is 6-2 to the over in its last eight.

Drexel vs. Monmouth (Saturday, 2 p.m. ET)

Drexel plays its CAA regular-season finale on Saturday.

The Dragons are 8-9 in CAA play and will finish anywhere from 7th to 10th in the conference standings.

Both Drexel and Monmouth enter on three-game winning streaks. They played a double-overtime thriller earlier in the season.

Drexel is 18-11 ATS and 4-2 ATS in its last six games. The under is 4-1 in Drexel’s last five. Monmouth is 6-3 to the over in its last nine.

La Salle at George Washington (Saturday. 6 p.m. ET)

La Salle is on a six-game losing streak, is 11-18 ATS and is 1-7 ATS in the last eight.

HOWEVER, the lone cover in that run of games came against George Washington at home.

GW is playing for a better seed in the A-10 tournament and I expect it to win pretty handily against an Explorers team that will play on the first day of the A-10 tournament.

Penn at Columbia (Saturday, 6 p.m. ET)

Penn and Columbia are the two worst teams in the Ivy League.

Penn is 10-14 ATS and Columbia boasts a 7-14-1 ATS mark.

The only bright side here is that Penn is 14-8-2 to the over going into Friday’s game with Cornell, so maybe we’ll get a ton of points between the Quakers and Lions.
