It’s tough to argue that the Sixers didn’t lie and steal from season ticket holders after Joel Embiid admitted that he doesn’t feel confident where he’s at and has to “fix the problem” in his knee. Tough to not feel a little bamboozled and led astray after the organization signed him to an extension and knew how bad his knee was. I can’t blame Sixers fans for feeling lied to and robbed that they’re now cancelling their season tickets they’ve had since Allen Iverson was playing:

That’s Dr. Bruce Grossinger, if anyone was wondering who the Jewish guy in the white coat yelling was. He’s a neurologist in the area that has worked on athletes like LeBron, AI, Peyton Manning, Jalen Hurts, and Brian Dawkins and has a million degrees on his wall, so I trust his opinion on this and the Andrew Bynum nugget he dropped at the end. Though it doesn’t take seven years of med school to know Embiid should’ve never played in the Olympics. Now, I’m on the record saying I’m okay with him playing and still am. If you want to label a guy selfish for playing for his country’s basketball team, but then prop up Matthew Tkachuk and Charlie McAvoy, who will miss NHL time with injuries, for playing in the 4 Nations then you’re a hypocrite. It’s the greatest honor in the world. It just sucks that the Sixers can’t ever get on the same page and consistently piss on their fans and tell them that it’s raining. The Embiid plan hasn’t worked, their other max player is dealing with chronic knee issues, and they sit in 11th place which is basically NBA no man’s land. Something tells me Dr. B won’t be the only Sixers fan cancelling their season tickets after this season.

If you want to check out more here’s the full episode with Dr. B and it’s a good one! The guy is an absolute character. We talk about if Severance can be achieved, his thoughts on Neuralink, is the NFL doing enough with concussions, the Eagles, weed and alcohol’s effect on the brain and more. Tune in:
