Wu-Tang Clan's Final American Show will be in Philadelphia
Do you think your Wu-Tang sword can defeat me? Let’s find out. Bring it to the Clan’s final American show, which will be in Philadelphia on July 18th:
It really doesn’t matter if this is Wu-Tang Clan’s final tour, because Wu-Tang is forever, as you know.
But apparently this is the first leg of a farewell tour and therefore we’re not gonna see the full group in concert together ever again, unless they pull an Ozzy Osbourne or KISS and unretire 17 times over the next three decades. It’s probably safe to assume that they will continue touring as solo artists, or that we get collaborative efforts, like Ghostface and Raekwon going out together. GZA tours frequently and Method Man is still running around with Redman and doing his thing as well. They’ve played a bunch of times in Philly in recent years and it’s usually most of the original members plus Cappadonna, minus the ODB, whose son is taking his place. They’ll have to perform Brooklyn Zoo during the final show so that the YDB can rap about Tastykakes.
It’s Wu motherfucka, Wu-Tang mothafucka.
