Redskins Releasing Josh Norman

Mike Garafolo first:
#Redskins are releasing CB Josh Norman, source says. Intriguing situation to watch, as he now has time to find his new team ahead of free agency.

Pro Football Focus says Norman only gave up 13 touchdowns in his first six NFL seasons. In the past two, he’s given up 16.
Obviously the Redskins absolutely stink, and Norman is on the wrong side of age 30 now, so when you have Father Time lurking and your team is terrible, then you’re definitely not performing the way you used to. He did have four interceptions over the past two years, but his PBU numbers really dropped and he was having trouble keeping receivers in front of him. Norman really did look like a shell of the player we saw in Carolina and during that 2016 season in Warshington. They’ll save about $12 million by moving on from him.
