Dallas Goedert fractured his ankle:

What are the chances that this “very small fracture” turns into something much worse, under the watchful gaze of the Eagles medical staff?

With Goedert out, and Alshon Jeffery out, and Jalen Reagor out, and DeSean Jackson likely out, and Quez Watkins on IR, the Birds’ pass catchers on Sunday will be:

• Zach Ertz
• Greg Ward
• Richard Rodgers
• J.J. Arcega-Whiteside
• Tim Hightower
• Deontay Burnett
• whomever else they can pull off the scrap heap (they have tight ends Jason Croom and Caleb Wilson on the practice squad)

Honest to God, Marquise Goodwin would be a Godsend right now. Too bad he opted out for (legitimate and totally understandable) family reasons.
