Kristen Rodgers Leaving FOX 29

Kristen Rodgers says she’s leaving FOX 29:
THANK YOU PHILLY.
After four years covering the greatest sports city in the country, my time at Fox29 is coming to an end. I’ll be moving back to the west coast for a new chapter I can’t wait to share in the coming weeks.
Thank you, Philly. You will always feel like home ❤️ pic.twitter.com/m2SWIUNDlU

She’s from California. Is she going going, back back, to Cali? Maybe. Needed to get that Notorious B.I.G. joke in there. She says she’s moving back to the west coast but didn’t reveal her new gig yet.
Rodgers is a USC Trojan and came to Philly in 2017 after three years with a TV station in Eugene, Oregon. That’s a small market, but a great place to start a sports career, since you’re in a cool college town and covering the Ducks and Beavers right out of college.
Kristen was pretty active during her time here. She anchored FOX sportscasts and did their specialty sports shows. She asked a lot of questions on Eagles Zoom calls and rarely appeared on Crossing Broad, which is the goal. You only end up on this site if you’re a sports media blowhard saying outrageous and dishonest stuff with regularity.
The one time she did appear on this site was when some overly-aggressive guy ran over her at a charity softball game, and then Mikey Miss called the guy a “douche” on the radio the next day.
Anyway, good luck to Kristen on the west coast.
