On Live TV, Julio Jones Says He’s Not Going to the Cowboys

Well what do we have here?
For the first time ever, the television show Undisputed provided something valuable. Something other than a Skip Bayless hot take acting job.
On Monday’s show, Shannon Sharpe called up Julio Jones, who said he was leaving Atlanta but confirmed that he doesn’t want to play for the Cowboys:
This is huge: Shannon Sharpe called Julio Jones live on @undisputed: Julio said he's "out of there" when asked if he wants to stay in Atlanta. He also said he doesn't want to go to the Cowboys. "I want to win."
Holy cow. I don't think he knew he was live. pic.twitter.com/5D8cXjclQt

“I ain’t going to Dallas man and I never thought about going to Dallas.”
The Dallas rumor came up because there was a photo going around on Twitter this weekend showing him wearing a Cowboys shirt.
Jones is 32 years old and under contract for two more years, so it’ll be interesting to see how a trade plays out here. Tennessee might be a suitor, as Julio was working out with fellow Alabama alum Derrick Henry in a recent video.
The video clip is fascinating though. Sharpe should let him know he’s live on the air. Or was it staged? Who the hell knows. Whatever the case, it was good TV.
