Washington Football Team announced that Tanya Snyder has been named co-CEO. She will join her husband as the WFT looks forward to unveiling a new name and brand for the next era of Washington football. Mrs. Snyder also now becomes one of few female CEOs in NFL history.

Sources tell Crossing Broad that the Washington Football Team went through an “exhaustive search” to find the right candidate. They interviewed dozens of qualified applicants. At the end of the day, Mrs. Snyder’s resume and experience and the fact that she’s the owner’s wife ended up separating her from the rest of the pack.
