Dave Portnoy Gives Sam’s in Wildwood Glowing Review

Barstool Sportsbook recently launched in New Jersey, and so Dave Portnoy is “down the shore,” as they say. Looks like he made multiple stops yesterday reviewing pizza joints on the boardwalks and stopped by Sam’s Pizza Palace in Wildwood, which is right off 26th on the boardwalk across from the Surfside Pier with the amusement park and rides – a Wildwood staple – before heading to Prep’s in Ocean City.
The Prep’s review is yet to come.
But Sam’s is live:

Manco got a 7.3 from Portnoy and Maruca’s (up in Seaside Heights) got a 7.5. Sam’s got a 7.9, which is damn good. High marks. A fantastic number for a boardwalk slice. I’m on the record with my disinterest in boardwalk pizza, but Kyle Scott aka “The Maestro” is into it, and that’s all that matters. The Maestro is the boss and runs the show.
