Here’s Every Possible Playoff Scenario + Matchup for the Eagles

The Eagles are in. Postseason Birds.
Who are they going to play? And do they even try in Week 18? Do they rest the starters? What about Dallas? It’s kind of a funky situation and we’ll see how it plays out through the week. Moving the game up to Saturday probably plays a role in the decision making process, because now they’ve got one less rest day to work with.
There’s a guy on Twitter named Deniz Selman who does really nice NFL charts and graphs. He provided one for playoff scenarios based on Week 18 results:
The Eagles travel to Tampa in the majority of those outcomes. There are possible matchups with the Cardinals, Rams, and Cowboys, but it’s going to depend on how that cluster of 2-5 teams approaches Week 18. We don’t know because they’ve all clinched and don’t have a chance to take the #1 seed from Green Bay, but there’s jockeying to be done based on matchups and home field in the first round.
