Josh Sweat won’t play in Sunday’s playoff game because he was a dealing with a serious medical issue during the week.

BLG shared the note from Eagles’ PR:

“The doctors addressed a life-threatening situation.”

Well shit, that sounds bad. Hope everything is alright with him.

Obviously it’s a big blow for the Eagles’ defense. Sweat has 7.5 sacks, seven tackles for loss, a forced fumble, and 13 QB hits this year. The Birds already played the entirety of the season minus Brandon Graham, so it’s gonna be on Derek Barnett and the rest of the group to step it up against…. Tom Brady. Maybe RYAN KERRIGAN has a banger. Not counting on it, though.
