There’s nothing Melo wanted more than to knock out a guy wearing Dockers:

The complete focus has been on the first guy and his buddy getting kicked out last night, but what the hell is Quarter Zip thinking here? Carmelo Anthony almost went full Ron Artest two seconds ago and Quarter Zip thinks now is a good time to poke the bear? That’s like walking into a tiger cage with Lady Gaga’s meat dress on. You can see QZ’s buddy with the friar cut nervously reaching for him, because if Carmelo cocks back he’s gonna need a fourth for their Saturday tee time.
Don’t be stupid people. Melo is 6’7 240. He has the higher ground. Be more like our leader, Kyle. Give him a muffled chirp from behind a mask 10 feet away with three lines of defense protecting you:

Tough night for Melo. He got it from sea to shining sea. Went toe to toe with Passyunk’s finest. The Main Line. Even San Francisco jumped in, prepping for Sunday at SoFi:

Good restraint from Delco not to jump in and launch a water bottle from the 200 level.
EDIT –
Update:
The Sixers fan who was ejected in the Carmelo Anthony incident has been banned from the Wells Fargo Center indefinitely, and from all future Sixers events. The second guy seen in the video clips (wearing a quarter zip) is banned from the arena for the rest of the year.
