The Cuz and The Hammer Absolutely Nailed their Ben Simmons Reactions

The news of the Ben Simmons/James Harden trade broke around 1:16 p.m. on Thursday, so 97.5 the Fanatic and 94 WIP were both in their 10-2 midday shows.
That means Anthony “The Cuz” Gargano and Joe “The Hammer” DeCamara got the opportunity to react live on the air, and both guys absolutely nailed it.

Great stuff from both of these guys. The Hammer absolutely obliterates Ben Simmons. I actually laughed out loud at both of those clips. They get to just release it all at once, which is enviable. If the producers at each station do not turn these clips into drops, then they are fired. That sound of Cuz just yelling should be a drop that gets played once per hour. It doesn’t even require any words.
If you think about it, this is what sports radio was made for. Instant reaction live on the air. Big stories breaking in the middle of a show. Total euphoria, and a departure from the banality of Eagles phone calls. James Harden is a Sixer. LFG.
