Philadelphia’s Kyle Daukaus Gets UFC Performance of the Night for Submission at the Buzzer

Philadelphia’s Kyle Daukaus improved to 2-2 in the UFC (with one no contest) after pulling off a submission on Saturday night with one second remaining on the clock in the first round.
Afterward, he was one of fighters given performance of the night honors and the UFC was filmed his reaction to the news:

Pretty cool. That’s Kyle’s brother Chris, the former Philly cop who is 4-1 in the UFC and fights Curtis Blaydes on March 26th.
Good win for Kyle, though. He was coming off a bout with Kevin Holland that turned into a no contest because of an accidental headbutt. He had lost a unanimous decision a few months prior to that, so he’s back in the win column for the first time since November of 2020. He gets $50k for performance of the night and is back on track in the UFC while improving to 11-2 overall in mixed martial arts.
