Being replaced by The Clapper is a direct shot to the ego. I’d rather be Oprah thinking Drew Brees’ birthmark was lipstick in front of billions of people right now than sitting at home on my couch knowing Jason Garrett replaced me:

Garrett could still also succeed Brees as NBC’s Notre Dame game analyst, but a final decision has not been made there, according to sources.
