Let’s overreact! –

“Another year they don’t play at home on Father’s Day?”

MLB released schedules for 2023 and the Phillies will start in Texas on March 30th. Quick observations here:

  • September does look brutal if we’re using the 2022 season as a barometer
  • fewer division games as teams play everyone once under the new schedule format
  • I give the Sunday package an 8 out of 10. Dodgers, Mets x2, Red Sox, Padres, and Cardinals are good matchups. Almost half of the games are worth your time.
  • Looks like a scheduled doubleheader July 15th against the Padres. Bring back the 2 for 1 ticket deal! Back in the Vet they used to have dudes tightrope across the stadium in between games.

Can’t wait to see everyone at the Bank from April to May then in September again when everyone is back from the shore. Those of you with a family of four, start saving now.
