Shout Out to Angelo Cataldi

Let’s give some credit where it’s due:
My buddy Angelo Cataldi @WIPMorningShow of @SportsRadioWIP honored his bet, and attended service with me at Beloved St. John Evangelist church! Many thanks to Angelo and his lovely wife Gail, Pastor Lupton, and 1st Lady Brenda Lupton. We had a beautiful time. Blessings ❤️👏🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾 pic.twitter.com/4dF9KE5OXY

I don’t know what the bet was and don’t care to go back and find out, but Angelo could have easily flaked here. Instead, he showed up to this church, which is at North Broad and Courtland, for a weekend service. While there, he repented for bestowing upon us the Dirty 30:
“Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us for bringing those idiots up to New York to boo Donovan McNabb, as we forgive them for embarrassing every Eagles fan by association. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from another season of Eagles fans fucking complaining on Twitter. For thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory, For ever and ever. Amen.”
Is that sacrilege? Is it profane? At least it’s not an IPA joke, because the guy who runs the Breweries in PA account was ready to strangle me last week.
But seriously, how many local radio hosts are going to North Philly for anything at all? Angelo gets +50 points for doing this. SHOUT OUT Angelo Cataldi. Man of the people.
