DeVonta Smith Wasn’t About the Cold and Rainy Weather

Smith replied on Twitter with a “bro you didn’t understand how cold it was” and a couple of laughing emojis.
This was the worst weather game he’s played in, at least in the NFL. The Eagles did go up to New York in November and December last season, but it wasn’t pouring rain. They played in Denver in November, but clear weather there, too.
Obviously he’s an Alabama guy and played most of his college career in warm weather SEC towns. Bama always scheduled a ton of those neutral site games and deviated from true out of conference road games, so looking through this game log, it appears as though the farthest north he went during his college career was Missouri. That’s crazy. Missouri and Tennessee. He didn’t play a single college football game above the Mason-Dixon Line.
