Every Home Run from the Phillies’ 7-0 Game 3 Obliteration

Well holy shit, that was awesome. That was the most fun I’ve had watching a baseball game in more than a decade.

The Phillies absolutely HAMMERED the Astros in Game 3 on Tuesday night, 7-0. It wasn’t even a contest. They got out to a big lead early, Ranger Suarez looked like Sandy Koufax reincarnate, and Rob Thomson was able to save the high-leverage bullpen arms in the process. It could not have gone any better in that regard. We had Andrew Bellati closing the game and Nick Nelson pitching a full inning, for crying out loud.

The offense blasted five home runs on the night, which ties a World Series record. Only three times previously had this happened – the Astros in 2017, the A’s in 1989, and the Yanks way back in 1928. They’ve got 17 home runs in just six home games this postseason, which is incredible. That’s almost three dingers per game! Insanity!
