Avonte Maddox Watch: Upward Trajectory

Avonte Maddox hasn’t practiced since December 22nd and hasn’t played since Christmas Eve, so this is some good news on the slot corner front:
CB Avonte Maddox (toe) is back at practice today. He was limited in yesterday's walkthrough pic.twitter.com/nB3XatqCfc

Sirianni said this will be a day to learn more about Avonte Maddox and what he is able to do. Continues on upward trajectory. As for Arryn Siposs, he hasn’t practiced but he has done some punting on his own and is being monitored #Eagles

This is why the current injury situation was always more favorable than 2017. Carson Wentz, Jason Peters, Chris Maragos, Jordan Hicks, and Darren Sproles weren’t coming back. They were on IR. Maddox, Siposs, Josh Sweat, Jalen Hurts, etc – none of those guys were ruled out for the season. The Eagles COULD be getting their entire defensive backfield together for the NFCCG, but we don’t wanna jinx it. One day at a time here. It’s upward trajectory. We’re trajecting upward.
