They should obviously try to package him. He’s only played 25 games this year and is averaging his lowest numbers since that 2017-2018 rookie year. Korkmaz is earning $5 million, which is the sixth-highest number on the team, and is slated to earn $5.3 million next season before becoming an unrestricted free agent.

Let Furk cook elsewhere! Free this man. Get him another NBA home, and if it doesn’t work out, he can continue his career in Europe, maybe in his native Turkey, where he remains part of the national team setup.

(Yes, I know Turkey is technically in Asia, but part of it is in Europe, so we’re gonna call Istanbul Europe. Got a problem with that? Call a cartographer).
