The Flying Hawaiian was in Vegas this week playing with the Savannah Bananas and showed some pop on this walkoff:

I miss that swing.

He looked like he checked at a ball out of the zone and still put it in the gap. Can we get this dude a roster spot in the top of the order? He’d cost less and hit more than Trea Turner.

Watching Victorino round the bases with those perched shoulders and diagonal run brought back so many memories:

I can’t tell if I’d go out of my way to see a Savannah Bananas game or not, but they seem like a lot of fun. They’re like the Harlem Globetrotters of baseball I guess. They’re on a world tour and will be in Trenton in August if you want to check it out yourself. It’s quite the predicament for the olds who hate the pitch clock, but also hate people that don’t respect the sanctity of America’s Pastime:
