Sixers news:

Trez played 57 games for the Sixers in the regular season at 11.9 minutes per, scoring six points and grabbing three rebounds on average. He only made two appearances in the playoffs, with Paul Reed spelling Joel Embiid off the bench. It feels like we get a “who should back up Joel Embiid?” discussion every single season and this year it centered (get it, centered?) on Harrell and Reed. Reed was pretty obviously the right decision and ultimately Doc capitulated, then the Sixers got bounced in the second round again and Rivers was fired.

Thank you for your service, Montrezl Harrell.

(on a more serious note, this helps “bigly” because the Sixers need as much cap flex as they can get, the only thing a third center helps with is regular season games in which Embiid is out/load managing)
