Take a back seat aliens! This was the most revealing news of the day!

Thanks to some crack investigators down at the Phils game on Wednesday it looks like we’ve found out why Bryce Harper doesn’t throw the ball into the stands after making the third out.  Thanks to Jordie over at Barstool for sending this over:

Our long national nightmare is finished!

So Bryce waits for warmups to end before sailing the ball into the stands for a lucky kid. I received a similar tip via DM from a Phillies fan at the Cleveland series, but since we’re a respectable journalistic institution here at Crossing Broad I had to wait for a second source:
