Haason Reddick was asked about his contract and if he was underpaid and answered, “Y’all see it. Y’all know what’s going on.” –

Oh what the fuck?!?!? Training camp was going so well and now we’re trying to nuke the vibes with contract questions on Day 6! I know Jeff McLane has to ask the follow-up question, but come on! Of course Reddick thinks he’s underpaid. Name one person who works for any company who doesn’t think they’re underpaid. He was top-5 in sacks last year. Myles Garrett had the same number of sacks and he’s going to clock almost $30 million this year. The other three are Nick Bosa, Chris Jones, and Matthew Judon, who are all holding out and about to get PAID with new deals. The only issue I have with Reddick’s answer is that he just signed the deal. You can’t complain a year into it. You should’ve explored elsewhere if you thought $30 million guaranteed or the years weren’t good enough.

Now, do I think Haason Reddick will be doing sit ups in his driveway during camp? No. The first part of that answer is going to get the most play, but the part where he said he’s going to be the best version of himself and let it sort itself out should be the focus. Typical Temple guy. Always thinking about the team first. Always just trying to be the best versions of ourselves… even if we’re grossly underpaid.

But lets be honest, if he goes out and has another 16.5 sack regular season, I’m sure Howie won’t mind converting some bonus money into a guarantee that he’ll backload into the year 2047.

Here’s a wholesome video of Jason Kelce playing with his kids to distract you from Haason Reddick apparently being unhappy with his contract. Everything in Eagles land is good. Hey! Look over here:
